I took this in a rush while we were stopped at the Lights on our Night “Green Bus” tour of Budapest. I was actually rather amazed they turned out as well as they did. I’m just interested in what you think i.e. whether you prefer the coloured version or the black and white the best.

Thank you
🙂 🙂
I really like the B&W version. It’s very striking.
Thank you.
Seems like the B&W won out, Michelle. Awesome image. 🙂
Yes even surprised myself with this one Sylvia! Especially as it was taken in such a rush while the bus was stopped at some lights. Only two votes on the poll so far though. I haven’t done one of these before. I really was interested in what people thought. I guess they must just like both.
I like them both. They both look timeless and majestic. Wonderful shots!
Thanks so much Mindful. They do both express something a little different but they both draw me in so I couldn’t really decide for a while either. . Finally I went with the drama of the black and white. But I think the pretty glowing gold one is romantic and lovely too.
The glowing one looks like molten sunshine. Fabulous.
Yes almost like it’s dripping with gold I think. Thank you.
Grrrr. I just got through a long reply and was kicked off. Let’s try again. I like both. I personally find that black and white gives me time to study the subject. In this case the architecture with its spires and turrets and zillion windows. I think of the amazing feat of designing and building it.
The colour version is pure emotion. It almost has a romantic feel to it glowing in the night. I feel your excitement of the WOW factor as you took the photo. It also invokes memories of my night time sightings. Beautiful shots, keep both. Cheers randomrose
What a great response Rose. You have given me so many more things to think about. I love that. You’re right of course. The black and white does allow more of a clinical type of study of the amazing architecture while the golden glow of the colour version is far more romantic and enchanting. I really appreciate this wonderfully considered response. Thank you.
